Western Beauty Review

Editorial policy

Western Beauty Review aims to make careful, readable material about beauty products, practices, and ideas. We distinguish explanation from opinion and take responsibility for correcting errors.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against suitable, identifiable information before publication and use precise language when details are limited or uncertain. Product descriptions and comparisons should explain their basis rather than imply testing or expertise that has not taken place. We do not offer professional medical advice.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted, or partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears, so readers can see the nature of the relationship. Partner placements do not determine our editorial conclusions.

Corrections and illustrations

If a published item contains a material error, we review the concern and correct the relevant passage with an appropriate note. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; when they are, we label them so readers can distinguish illustrative imagery from documentary photographs.

Our point of view

Beauty deserves a closer look.

A product, routine, or style is easier to understand when its purpose and assumptions are visible. We look at the details without treating one way of appearing as the rule.
